I had the pleasure of being taught Physics and Maths by Andrew while resitting my A Levels. Studying independently, my lessons with Andrew were my sole form of education, and his support was invaluable.
He was diligent in planning ahead for the year ensuring we would have time to thoroughly cover everything. Our lessons would mainly focus on covering content, on which he would then assign questions of varying difficulties for me to complete by the next lesson.
This approach allowed Andrew to quickly identify my weaknesses and implement targeted techniques to enhance my understanding.
In addition to covering content and doing practice questions, Andew also helped me build confidence by working on exam technique and giving guidance on how to revise effectively, which was instrumental in my success. Outside of our lessons I was able to contact him with any problems I had which was extremely helpful. He was extremely friendly and approachable and created a comfortable learning environment, where I was truly able to get the best out of my studies.

During my two years of Physics tuition with Andrew, he has been an exceptional teacher and a great support. Working on topics I struggled with was never a daunting matter as Andrew was always very easy to work with. I felt comfortable and okay with making mistakes in our sessions because I knew he’d correct me without making me feel bad about it. He was very understanding
of the stress that comes with A-Levels and would be open to rescheduling if I was too stressed on a day we had a session booked in. My favourite thing about my time with Andrew is that the start of the session always began with a nice conversation, which always settled me before we got into the Physics. Without Andrew, my A* in Physics wouldn’t have been possible…now I’m off to his old Oxford College (Worcester, the best!) to study Biochemistry!

I am very happy to update that my son secured an offer from Cambridge for Natural Sciences (Physical)!
He was very fortunate that he had a very solid NSAA score due to Andrews's hlep because that must have tipped in his favour as the interview was gruelling... non-stop grilling on Chemistry & Physics questions, of which he could barely answer half.
Nevertheless, he learnt to show how to think and was grateful to have been prepared well by your tutors throughout the process.
